Installing on Ubuntu

To install Node in the Ubuntu operating system, open the terminal and run the following command one by one.

curl -sL https://deb.nodesource.com/setup_12.x | sudo -E bash -

Then,

sudo apt-get install -y nodejs

Also, install the build tools.

sudo apt-get install -y build-essential

Update the NPM.

sudo npm install -g npm

Verify the installation, run the following command.

node -v

It should return the version of Node installed in your system. In our case, it should be V12.
